Intern Corner

PRA has recently welcomed a new crop of interns for the fall semester who will help the research staff on a variety of projects.

Alex Lach, a senior at Tufts University in Medford, MA, is majoring in Political Science and Media and Communications Studies.  Alex is assisting Senior Researcher Pam Chamberlain on a new project that surveys the players on the Right actively involved in opposing gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender rights in the United States.

Sayeesha Ramnani recently graduated from Wheaton College in Norton, MA with a combined major in Psychobiology, Chemistry, and Women’s Studies.  While eventually planning to attend medical school, Sayeesha is currently pursuing her interest in the intersections among race, class, and gender.  She is utilizing her time at PRA to learn more about politics.

Tavish McLeod recently graduated from Boston University, with a degree in History and International Relations. Tavish has worked with two research organizations before signing on with PRA, the Howard Gottlieb Archival Center at B.U., and the Consortium on Gender, Security, and Human Rights at UMass/Boston. He has been helping our communications staff prepare articles for republication.

John Michael Denney is a graduate of McGill University. To satisfy his interest in right-wing politics, he took a road trip across the United States that included a stop at the Creation Museum in Kentucky. He has helped research conservative blogs as part of our midterm elections analysis.
